"side"

The girl loves "outside" or as she calls it "side, side, side" She will say this over and over until you let her out.
She then begs for "watey! watey! (water) So I turn the sprinklers/or hose on for her.
We would put her in play clothes but she prefers nothing. I have loads of these oh so adorable chubby baby photos of my little one playing outside in the water, with the dog, in the mud, watering the plants, and so on.
The "Terrible two" stage has passed.. for now. I have never enjoyed her more than at this stage in her life. She is so sweet, and smart. She is inherently funny. Such a natural thing for her.
I love this photo.
Snack trap in hand and on her trike. A headband that she insisted on wearing, and putting on herself. The headband is of infant size and must be uncomfortable, but she tells me "no, no, no" when I ask if I can take it off .
Her baby belly is to die for! With how active she can be I'm surprised she can hold on to her chub, but she does, and I love it! Inappropriate? Na, besides when have I ever been appropriate?

7.24.12

I took these pics back on the 24th of July @ the pioneer day BBQ. Just about every meal looks about this way. We tend to give many baths around these parts.

Chloe takes after Daddy. She loves chocolate anything. I predicted that something like this would happen, and brought a fresh outfit for the girl.
Chloe was so interested in this skateboard and had to take a test run.
She had no plans to give it back. She had so much fun. Maybe I need to go out and buy her one of her own?
I adore her facial expression. She's such a funny little guy.

Rodeo beach

We took a day trip with the youth of our church to Rodeo Beach.
It was a blast. We ate Togo's sandwiches and chips.
As you can see the little lady loved the sun chips.

She dragged them through the water, and sand, and wouldn't let go of them.
Needless to say she ate her fair share of sand.

The girls played with her the whole time and she enjoyed chasing Nikki the dog around.

Love my girl.

John and Darby

Our good friends John and Darby Walters came to visit. We had such a good time with them. I so wish we lived near them. We went into San Francisco to pier 39 and to the exploratorium.
Little gal was QUITE naughty this week. We were going through some of the toughest terrible two weeks yet. We got lucky enough that we had company to witness such great behavior:)
Thank goodness she is so darn cute!

Look at this cute couple! Ahhh. We love you John and Darbs.

How I felt is written on my face. She kept running away from us and trying to dive into the water..

Not cooperating for a picture this time..
Why did we even try for any family pictures?
We went to Santa Cruise one day and played at the beach..
C got really thirsty and NEEDED a drink. Darby obliged.

Chloe kept finding rocks and running to throw them into the ocean before the waves came rolling back in..
It's all fun and games until a wave gets you!...
Some nice lady who happened to be wading in the water pulled her out while Adam ran over to save her. I just happened to get pictures of the whole event.

Chloe was NOT a fan of the experience.
Maybe this experience will make her not want to get too close to the water next time?

She started to feel a little better as I walked her back up the beach
She had so much sand in her hair and ears that we tried to rinse her off with fresh water.. She thought we were torturing her.
After she dried and got changed into warm clean clothes we went for a stroll down to pier to see the sea lions.
 Meet Clyde

 My cute sweetheart
What a lovely couple don't you think?
We miss you John and Darby! Come visit soon!

7.31.2012

This week has been a tough week.
Life can be  is hard a lot of the time.
loss of any kind is going to be hard.
There is so much to be grateful for.
We are so lucky to have a beautiful little two year old daughter whom we adore.
My mother moved here to Walnut Creek to be close to our family.
We now have a trusted babysitter on hand when needed.
( we have never had help this is so exciting for us!)
Chloe has more people around to love her.
My sweet husband is so supportive.
I got a beautiful bouquet of crimson roses from my sweetheart
The knowledge that we will be blessed with more babies,
maybe not this time, but eventually.
The love and kind words I have been blessed to hear from my wonderful friends.
Comfort in knowing that the things I go through can, and are a support to others who are going through the same thing.
