Borges Ranch

My friend Melanie and I took our little s to Borges Ranch a few weeks ago.

Scarlett, Wes, and Chloe got to pet the animals, and run around.

 Three 3 year olds at a petting zoo is so fun to watch.

Chloe is so amazing with animals. She is not afraid, and is so gentle and excited to touch and hold them.

Chloe is my flower girl. She picks flowers everywhere she goes!! It not always so great when your neighbor just planted the flowers in his yard...

 

 Haha I really liked this weirdo goat. He liked the flowers on the other side of the fence, and kept contorting and torturing himself to get a tasty treat.

 The chickens were a bit aggressive. Melanie put her hand in and the stripped one pecked her pretty badly.

My girls

Rarely do I get pictures with my girls,

 and if  I do it's me being silly and trying to get my girls to laugh

 while Adam accidentally gets me in the shot.

 I never put those pictures up because, well for obvious reasons.

 but someone once told me that they wish that they had pictures 

of themselves with their mother. 

That they wish they had those memories captured.

 Makes sense.

Got me thinking. 

I don't have any pictures of me and my mother when I was really little.

I Wish I did. 

I would cherish them.

 And so I make effort.

for them.

They are why I love photography. 

Why I desire so much to learn.

I want to be better.
 Able to to really capture them as they really are.

Doesn't help that I don't have many pictures of myself as a baby/child. 

I tend to over take of mine. Well there is no such thing as overtake in my mind.

Silly Chloe

This little girl is a "free spirit" so much energy, and sas. Hard to keep up with, into everything, mischievous, and one of the most naturally funny people I know..

Chloe loves her boots. She will wear them with anything.. Bathings suits included. I suppose it's a good idea since she did step on a bee and got stung two days in a row..

See that mischievous face? She's about to splash me with with water.. 

Chloe- "Gotta keep those boots near by so the bees don't bite me!"

As difficult as raising a three year old is.. This smile makes it all worth it. Love my girls!!

Playing in the rain

Back in January Adam and I went to visit some friends in Southern California.
 While we were there it rained. I was out shopping and Adam had Chloe for the morning.
 They picked oranges in the back yard and played in the rain.

Chloe loves puddles.. and we have had a hard time keeping her clean and dry any time it rains.

Adam let her get wet and have fun and took some cute pictures of her.

I jump into bed and wait for Adam, who is still flossing in the bathroom. So I shout out

"Babe will you grab the humidifier out of Chloë's room and add a few drops
of eucalyptus? Every time I lay down I start coughing and I don't want to
keep you up tonight."

Adam- "Yup... Did you know that you snored last night?"

Me- Yes!! (still shouting) My nose was completely blocked!

Adam- "You know what I thought when I heard you?.. Of course my wife would
have the cutest snore in the world. I could totally sleep through that!"
